Job Description:
As a Close Protection Officer (CPO) at Mi5Star International you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of designated individuals, often high-profile clients, by providing close protection services. This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and physical fitness. The CPO will operate in various environments, both domestic and international, and must adapt to dynamic and potentially high-risk situations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Close Protection Services: Provide close protection to designated individuals, including executives, celebrities, dignitaries, and other high-profile clients, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
2. Threat Assessment: Conduct thorough threat assessments and risk analysis to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and develop appropriate strategies to mitigate them.
3. Advance Planning: Conduct advance planning and reconnaissance for all assignments, including route assessments, venue security evaluations, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
4. Security Coordination: Coordinate closely with other security personnel, law enforcement agencies, and client representatives to ensure seamless security operations.
5. Physical Security Measures: Implement physical security measures, including perimeter security, access control, and emergency response protocols, to safeguard clients and assets.
6. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond effectively to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, security breaches, and hostile threats, utilizing appropriate tactics and procedures.
7. Surveillance and Monitoring: Conduct surveillance and monitoring activities to detect and deter potential threats, utilizing both technical and human intelligence resources.
8. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders, utilizing various communication devices and protocols.
9. Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports documenting security incidents, observations, and actions taken, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in close protection, preferably in a corporate or high-profile environment. Previous military or law enforcement experience is highly desirable.
2. Certifications: Valid local certifications in close protection, first aid/CPR, defensive driving, and firearms training are required. Additional certifications such as tactical medical training or foreign language proficiency are advantageous.
3. Physical Fitness: Excellent physical fitness and stamina are essential for this role, including the ability to pass physical fitness assessments and meet physical security requirements.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Security to lead our security operations and drive strategic initiatives across our global operations.
